TRAGEDY: from the Greek “he-goat" and aeidein – “to sing” = Goat Song
Logline: Stand-up comedy legend Burt The Free Man enlists the help of a tech-obsessed janitor to stop a mass murder at Atlanta’s Rainbow’s End Comedy Club. It doesn’t go well.
Synopsis: Each week, an AI-generated social media “sexsation” known as the Voice of God (VOG) spins a wheel of fortune fitted with the names of American cities. When the wheel stops, VOG nation unleashes Hell on one hotspot in the winning metropolis as an exculpatory sacrifice for the sins of the world. Tonight, the wheel stops on Burt The Free Man’s comedy club. The place gets locked down for safety. However, as anyone familiar with the Greeks knows, sometimes, the enemy is within.
